Parent Handbooks are updated as policies change. Written notice is given to parents when these changes are made. Parents are welcome to view/print Parent Handbooks at any time. The Guide to Regulated Child Care is available for your review.
The State of Maryland requires several forms before any child can be admitted into a approved licensed facility. Emergency & medical information is required to be updated yearly or as necessary. All About Me Forms are also updated annually. Updated immunization records should be sent in after doctor visits when they are received.
Visiting Our Center
Although we love to show off our center, for safety reasons, it is required that arrangements are made prior to visiting. Currently we are scheduling tours outside of business hours and parents and visitors are not allowed in the building while the children and staff are present.
Completed Medication forms are required for prescription medications. There is a section that must be completed by your child's physician. According to the Maryland State Department of Education:
"Medication, whether prescription or non-prescription, may not be administered to a child in child care unless:
a)parental permission to administer the medication is documented on a completed, signed, and dated medication authorization form, provided by the office, that is received at the center before the medication is administered: and
b) a licensed health practitioner has approved the administration of the medication and the medication dosage.
Any questions regarding this policy should be directed to the administration.
