Our Center...

St. Mary's Sunshine Center is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 childcare/preschool facility, caring for children in Southern Maryland since 1989. Originally started as part of our local hospital, the facility was expanded in 2001 to the current location. Our Director shares her 26 years of childcare experience with a wonderfully trained and enthusiastic staff. Many of our teachers have been with us since our expansion and have received individualized training in their age groups. Our center is always making changes to improve the quality of care we provide.

Our teachers are experienced in early childhood education & development. We believe that every child is unique. They grow & learn at their own pace. Our teachers nurture children’s strengths and challenge their potential. Our program offers fun, hands-on learning in a safe, guided environment.
